Testimonials

PAL Environmental Services completed the full asbestos and lead abatement of Jefferies Generating Station’s Coal Fired Units 1-4 in January through November 2017, prior to the demolition of this site. This included all four boilers & structures, piping, building and office spaces, electrical equipment, coated structural steel, etc.

I would like to commend Brian Messisco, Team Leader, and PAL Environmental on their performance for the duration of the work. Brian’s thoroughness and attention to detail allowed for the successful and safe completion of the project. From constructing a complete containment system, following proper safety procedures, to surface preparation and cleaning techniques, to collecting appropriate documentation, his professionalism while working with us lead to a quality end product.

I would recommend Brian and his PAL Environmental team for future projects.

Following Hurricane Michael and its drastic effects on the Panama City area, the Naval Support Activity Panama City Installation was severally impacted. On this project we worked closely with PAL Services on remediating, restoring, and rebuilding all aspects of this government facility, supporting our U.S. Navy.

PAL Services provided excellent craftsmanship on all aspects of interior rebuilds, including but not limited to; metal stud framing, drywall installation, ceiling/ceiling grid, flooring, and finishes. The trades worked efficiently, effectively, provided adequate manpower and demonstrated a safety culture for all workers. Submittals were provided quickly, change requests priced competitively and produced a work quality requiring minimal punch-list.

Given the opportunity, PAL Services will be a valuable addition to any project team.

Diverse Capabilities Speed Disaster Recovery

For decades, PAL Environmental Services has completed projects of all sizes and complexities. Founded in 1993, it has grown to become one of the nation’s largest, full-service environmental remediation and emergency response contractors, providing support following historic disasters, such as the 9/11 terrorist attacks and devastating weather events like hurricanes Sandy, Harvey, Florence and Michael.

The company not only provides environmental remediation and mitigation expertise but is also a licensed general contractor offering demolition and reconstruction services under a self-performing model that minimizes the need for additional contractors. Additionally, PAL boasts one of the largest available inventories of restoration equipment in the industry. These factors, in conjunction with the manpower necessary to handle large projects, provide customers with rapid response times and cost-effective services, and they help to ensure that the company’s high standards for quality are met.

Before, during and after a catastrophic event, PAL’s team of highly trained experts work efficiently to mitigate further damage and quickly return properties to pre-loss conditions. The company provides recovery services, insurance estimates and repairs for residential, commercial and industrial properties, including buildings damaged by floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, fires and other natural disasters. In addition, Pal has extensive experience working on Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) projects and is capable of performing jobs anywhere within the continental United States and its territories.

“Not only are we capable of providing a diverse array of services unrivaled within the recovery industry, but we also do it safely to protect our employees, our clients and their patrons.” PAL Owner Salvatore DiLorenzo says.  “With a recordable incident rate and an experience modification rate that exceed industry standards, we prove every day that we have the extensive knowledge and qualifications necessary to get the job done right—and safely.”

A comprehensive safety training and certification program supports the company’s top-notch performance record. Technician certifications include water remediation and applied structural drying through the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification. The company’s in-house safety programs are complemented by third-party training on topics including safeguarding against asbestos, mold and lead. OSH training (including hazardous waste operations and emergency response, also know as HAZWOPER), CPR and more.

PAL’s range of disaster-recovery services include but are not limited to: cleanup and removal of debris; decontamination, remediation and structural cleaning for chemical, biological and microbial hazards; demolition (interior, structural and selective); structural dehumidification; temporary roofing and dry-in; cleaning of building contents and document restoration; and temporary facilities setup and maintenance.

“We also offer a preplanning program that prioritizes the needs of preregistered clients when a disaster strikes,” DiLorenzo adds. “This program is advantageous because the initial contractual, prequalification and vendor setup procedures are completed in advance of an event, allowing Pal to get to work swiftly.” As part of this program, clients receive preset pricing for services that have been negotiated under “blue-sky” conditions, which is reassuring to those who are concerned about out-of-pocket expenses for emergency response support. PAL Environmental did the demolition and abatement for a complicated project in South Carolina where the full interior was gutted but only after major ACM abatement was completed. PAL, thru that whole project, was a great team player who showed concern with all our touchpoints; safety, schedule, quality, community outreach, etc. The project culminated with the client singling out PAL for their excellent work. I look forward to having PAL on a future project.

To whom it may concern,
I’m pleased to have the opportunity of providing PAL Environmental Safety with this letter of appreciation. They performed Environmental cleanup and site stabilization at two of our badly damaged sites after Hurricane Michael.
Their staff was knowledgeable, polite, and always easy to work with. They promptly manned the job and recorded all work in detail for insurance and FEMA reporting.

On behalf of Early Education and Care, Inc. (EEC), I would like to offer a letter of recommendation for PAL. Our agency and community was devastated after being impacted by Hurricane Michael. PAL was quick to respond with Disaster Recovery and Emergency Response Services. The entire PAL team performed a number of jobs at 6 facilities with the highest level of attention to detail and quality along with a focus on professionalism.

PAL’s work has been impeccable. Their work included emergency mitigation, drying and dehumidification, mold remediation, debris removal, structural repairs, demolition, providing temporary air conditioning, securing portables and many more needed services. They provided all necessary paperwork and submitted documentation in a thorough and timely fashion. I was kept informed each step of the way and regularly met with the PAL team. All work done helped EEC to minimize damage and disruption to our on-going operations.

This work was performed under a very tight schedule with high visibility. They met each challenge and solved unexpected issues quickly and effectively. PAL’s team has a wealth of collective experience and diverse professional skills to provide appropriate customized solutions that addressed the immediate needs of EEC.

Lastly, PAL understands the recovery process. PAL understands customer service. Pal is committed to building a relationship with their customers by returning their facilities and sites to pre-disaster conditions. I would highly recommend PAL for any project, no matter how large. Please feel free to contact me should you wish to discuss Pal’s performance further.
