Skills And Experience This position will responsible for complete review of plans and specifications, quantity takeoffs, pricing, and the compilation of project estimates. The candidate must have a strong knowledge of the piping and mechanical trades for power generation, pulp and paper, mining & chemical, and the process industries.

Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Read and understand scope of work and specification documents
- Possess a strong knowledge of piping materials and installation methodologies
- Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented
- Strong working knowledge of estimating software like Timberline or MC 2
- Working knowledge of programs such as Primavera (P6), MS Projects, Bluebeam, Synchro, Excel, and Word
- Well-rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplines
- 5-10 years previous industrial construction experience is required
- Small to large project experience ($5M-$200M+) is required
- Travel on short-term basis
Responsibilities
- This position will responsible for complete review of plans and specifications, quantity takeoffs, pricing, and the compilation of project estimates
- Execute quantity takeoffs
- Identify and qualify subcontractors and suppliers
- Visit project and pre-bid meetings to understand site conditions/scope
- Provide accurate take-off
- Work with estimating team to build the estimate and pricing
- Develop preliminary schedule
