Construction Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper

Qualifications

  • Looking for someone that is self-sufficient, driven, able to work in a fast pace environment, and ready for a long term career position
  • Candidate must be able to remember and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Construction Bookkeeping
  • Clean and valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced work environment
  • Highly organized and detail oriented Complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
  • Excellent professional communication skills
  • Able to pass drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

  • The Bookkeeper reports to the Owner
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Accounts Payable, including job costing and vendor statement reconciliation
  • Full cycle Accounts Receivable
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile all balance sheet accounts; Review for input accuracy
  • General ledger maintenance
  • Perform other related duties as may be requested by the Owner
  • Administrative support, including answering phones, filing, preparation of reports, etc
  • Human resource support, including state filings, preparation of employee folders, management of contract personnel
