Construction Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper
Qualifications
- Looking for someone that is self-sufficient, driven, able to work in a fast pace environment, and ready for a long term career position
- Candidate must be able to remember and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Construction Bookkeeping
- Clean and valid Driver’s License
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced work environment
- Highly organized and detail oriented Complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
- Excellent professional communication skills
- Able to pass drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- The Bookkeeper reports to the Owner
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Accounts Payable, including job costing and vendor statement reconciliation
- Full cycle Accounts Receivable
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile all balance sheet accounts; Review for input accuracy
- General ledger maintenance
- Perform other related duties as may be requested by the Owner
- Administrative support, including answering phones, filing, preparation of reports, etc
- Human resource support, including state filings, preparation of employee folders, management of contract personnel
